About Becker Sanitation

Becker Sanitation began as a small family business in the late 1980s. It started with Darrel & Shelia Graf, pumping tanks as well as portable toilets. Eventually, Darrel sold Graf’s Enviromental Services to his cousin, Larry and Nancy Graf in 1993.

From here business was expanding, Larry now had 225 portables, including Door County’s first portable handicap unit. While continuing to increase his customer base around Door County; Graf’s was growing and busy! Eventually, adding employees to help maintain the great service that Larry strived to achieve! Business continued for Larry and Nancy for about 15 years.

When retirement was on the horizon, the portable toilet division was sold in 2002. In early 2007, Paul and Crystal Becker (Larry’s daughter) bought the pumping portion of the business. From here Paul and Crystal grew Graf’s business even more. Paul obtained his CDL and began working with Larry, learning the skills needed to be a successful pumper. From there Paul became a certified septage operator and eventually master operator. Together, Paul and Crystal had the business for the next 15 years.

In 2022 Paul took over Graf’s, also employing summer help to maintain the service customers have grown to appreciate over the last 30 years.

Today, Graf’s has been renamed to Becker Sanitation. Maintaining the same small family values and attention to detail at each home that we visit. The spirit of Darrel and Larry will continue with Becker Sanitation.
